The Panasonic cycling team was created in 1984 by Peter Post after TI Raleigh withdrew their sponsorship of the team.
Despite the change in title sponsorship, the team continued to ride Raleigh bikes during the first two seasons, but after that opted for Eddy Merckx 1986-1987 and then Colnago for the final two seasons.
Key riders of the team where Phil Anderson, Eric Vanderaerden, Robert Millar, Erik Breukink, Eddy Planckaert & Allan Peiper with the majority of their wins coming in the Netherlands and Belgium.
