Size Guide: Prendas Retro 2022
All
size guides on the Prendas website have been specifically prepared to help you get the right size garment. We
do not use generic charts from manufacturers, we measure every garment that we sell. It is worth noting that our sizing recommendations are based on a close fit, so if you want a bit of room, it is sometimes advisable to go up one size.

Bib Shorts Size Guide:
Our size guide is here to help you get your bib shorts from Prendas Ciclismo to fit correctly - first time round!
Unfortunately, the sizing of bib shorts is not an exact science (unlike jerseys) so the information presented here is in good faith and just a guide so please don't hold us responsible if they don't fit!
If you are at all unsure - we would be very happy to advise - simply email us your height, weight, chest and waist (the final two dimensions will give us a feel for your overall build) and we will happily offer you some advice based on over thirty years of working in the cycle clothing industry.
Whilst many of our competitors still quote waist sizes, this dimension actually has very little relevance when it comes to bib short sizing. This part of the garment will stretch almost indefinitely.
Your height and weight are the two most important dimensions. The size chart below gives you an indication, but exact sizes may vary depending on individual body shapes as well as fit preferences.

It may come as a surprise to some but there was a burgeoning UK pro scene over 2 decades ago. The focal point was the legendary Kellogg's City Centre series. It was televised too and was one of the few opportunities to see live cycle racing on the box pre-Eurosport. The famed marque Raleigh was always strong in this discipline and indeed the formidable Raleigh Banana team even had a replica bike (in fact a choice of two, one budget made from 501 and one pukka team replica in 753).
The team were also highly visible in the Milk Race, the high point in the domestic calendar. Dave Rayner, Tim Harris, Chris Lillywhite, Adrian Timmis, Dave Mann, Chris Walker and Jonny Clay all rode the prestigious event with sales of Raleigh bikes no doubt benefiting from the team's presence.
Steve Douce was another rider on the team's roster, giving the team valuable publicity during the Winter months thanks to his off-road prowess including winning numerous cyclo-cross events including the national championships.
We would like to publicly thank both Geoff Giddings and Pippa Wibberley of Raleigh UK for their co-operation and invaluable assistance in making this project happen.
